9-10 November 2019 Piano Music Conservatory Competition

  1. Below 10 years or born after 10 November 2009
  2. Below 14 years or born after 10 November 2005
  3. Below 19 years or born after 10 November 2000
  4. Below 27 years or born after 10 November 1992

9-10 November 2019 Violin Music Conservatory Competition

  1. Below 9 years or born after 10 November 2010
  2. Below 14 years or born after 10 November 2005
  3. Below 19 years or born after 10 November 2000
  4. Below 29 years or born after 10 November 1990
  5. The competition consists of two rounds (preliminary & final) in all categories.
  6. Performer category: participants must play 1 piece in the preliminary round and 1 piece in the final round.
  7. Conservatory category: participants must play 2 pieces in the preliminary round and 1 piece in the final round.
  8. For Violin Category, The Piano Accompaniment must be LIVE on Stage.
  9. Participants may apply for several entries, as well as in Performer Category and in Conservatory Category, within his/her age group and/or the age group one level up.
  10. All pieces MUST be played from memory (except for the accompaniment).
  11. Repetitions should be omitted except for Da. Capo if required.
  12. Free choice of repertoire should be chosen within the required composers, periods, and movement. Failure to observe this rule may lead to disqualification of the participants. For repertoires that exceed the timing criteria, it will be judged based on the maximum duration of each round.
  13. Repertoire submitted after closing date of registration CANNOT be changed. Otherwise, the organizer has the right to disqualify participants.
  14. The competition is open to pianists and violinist of all nationalities. All information submitted must be correct and true. Otherwise, the organizer has the right to disqualify participants.
  15. The application fee is absolutely non-refundable.
  16. By applying to the competition, online or manually, participants automatically understands, accepts and agrees to the terms, conditions, and rules of the competition.

  • Tickets of Classical Concert at Aula Simfonia Jakarta

Decisions of the juries are final and not revocable.

  • The jury has the right to add and to remove certain prizes when needed.
  • If one or more jury members have been teaching a candidate continuously within the last 10 (ten) hours, he/she or they will be excluded from grading the performance of the respective candidate.
  • Notes of judgment from the jury WILL BE DISTRIBUTED once the competition finalizes.

Registration for 2 categories of the same instrument on a different date will get 10% cashback of total fee

COPYRIGHT: All rights of the performances, broadcasting, recording, filming, and photography in the competition belong to the organizer.

 

APPLICATION & BALLOTING PROCEDURE

  1. Applications deadline: 31 January 2019 for Performer and 30 Sept 2019 for Conservatory.
  2. Please, http://www.gloriamus.org/register.php visit  for online application.
  3. Fill in the data of each candidate.
  4. Prepare 1 picture of each candidate and scan/copy of birth certificate.
  5. E-mail with information about application fees will be sent to the competitor.
  6. If you wish to add more participant(s), please go to My Registration.
  7. Kindly transfer the fund to Yayasan SM. Gloriamus BCA 127 300 4746
  8. E-mail with confirmation of payment will be sent.
  9. On 21 February 2019 and 26 October 2019, e-mail with detailed practical information and schedules will be sent to the candidate, including the balloting procedure.

 

On the competition day

On the competition day, the competitor needs to confirm him-/herself at the venue, with the schedule stated on the email. Please bring along:

  • The original identification card in form of birth certificate or passport or ID card to be shown.
  • 3 copies of all scorers with entry category written on top right of the first page (e.g. Performer A / Conservatory B). The copies will be given to the jury members.
